Elbphilharmonie - Hamburg

The mother of all concert halls is nearly ready and is officially opening its doors in January 2017, most of the tickets being already sold out for the first season as I write this.
The Elbphilharmonie is an impressively beautiful concert hall in the HafenCity quarter of Hamburg, Germany. The new construction sits on top of an old warehouse building and is designed by Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron. When completed, it will be the tallest inhabited building of Hamburg (final height of 110 meters) with a luxury Westin Hotel and Apartments. Go for a stroll or a boat ride at sunset and you will be mesmerized by this building's immense beauty and the dance of light between the Elbe River and its mirrored facade. Now imagine your favourite music being played inside. There you go. Spellbound.
