The Marco Polo Tower - a landmark HafenCity
The white Marco Polo Tower is 55 meters and 16 floors high. Together with the Unilever House
, the two glassy buildings in the HafenCity is the first building complex directly on the Elbe.
The building was planned by Behnisch Architekten
of Stuttgart. An eye catching design: The interlaced stories are unique in the Hanseatic city. In the vicinity of the tower are of the Speicherstadt including historic harbour, and the Internationales Maritimes Museum
